Registered MFT Intern
Helping others is truly an exceptional gift and is ultimately my passion. We all come from diverse backgrounds and have unique experiences and circumstance which can impact mental and emotional development throughout a lifetime. Asking for help is the first step to healing. I love being a part of the healing process and truly enjoy watching individuals grow, become empowered and develop self-awareness. Mutual respect and trust is the first step to developing a healthy working relationship where you will feel safe to share your story. I will work directly with you finding the best approach and providing tools which will support you in your pursuit of self-discovery based on your values and unique circumstance. I cannot wait to embark on this journey of healing with you as you manage life struggles.
I began my training at Foothill Family Services where I gained experience providing individual, group, and family therapy working collaboratively with children, adolescents and adults within a diverse population. I have experience working with behavioral issues, trauma, grief and loss, anger management, adjustment, depression, anxiety, bullying, family conflict, blended families, parenting skills and conflict resolution. I am particularly passionate about working with children and adolescents helping them to identify stressors, avoid risky behaviors, improve their problem solving ability, and strengthen relationships, while finding a positive outlet for personal growth.
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and my Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of La Verne. I am a member of CAMFT (California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists). I am registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern (IMF82793), and I am supervised under Dr. Wendy Ludecke Selevitch, PSY 22818.
