In my opinion, there is nothing more powerful than authentic human connection. The connection built between therapist and client has the ability to foster immense change and growth. As a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist I feel truly honored to be trusted with this responsibility and want nothing more than to create a safe space for my clients to share their stories.

I have facilitated sessions with adults, adolescents, groups, couples, and families. I have extensive experience in the field of addiction and have worked with clients suffering from all forms of addiction including drugs, alcohol, sex, and food. In addition, I feel passionate about helping my clients to improve their self-esteem, work through body image issues, and gain confidence. Trauma, abuse, low self-esteem, anxiety, and depression can all lead to some form of self medication and/or maladaptive behaviors. It then becomes the goal of therapy to work together to engage new, healthier coping skills.

I completed my undergraduate studies in psychology from California State University, Northridge and went on to earn my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Los Angeles. Beginning in August of 2017 I will begin working towards a Ph.D. in Humanistic Psychology. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#96365) with the California State Board of Behavioral Sciences and a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists.
