"Above all be the hero in your life, not the victim"(Norah Ephron). My hope for all of my clients is that they will allow me into their journey of taking back their power. Whether you feel subject to your anxiety, depression, trauma etc., I hope to help you not let these things define you anymore. I believe that everyone holds power within themselves to make change, and my role will be to guide you to finding that power. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and personality disorders. I have experience working with individuals, adolescents, and couples. I also have experience in working with LGBTQ individuals. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mind Body Bridging, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety and Mindfulness. I use an eclectic approach, since every experience unique to each individual. I take a client centered approach in order to allow the client to take treatment in the direction that is best for them. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Utah Valley University and a Master's in Social Work from the University of Utah. I am registered with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (#79472), and I am supervised under Jennifer Stinson PhD (#20997).
