Deciding to enter into professional counseling can be a scary idea, but I believe an individual’s ability to recognize that there is a problem, coupled with their willingness to work to find a solution, demonstrates courage. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. My educational background includes a Masters degree from Argosy University in Counseling Psychology and a Bachelors degree from California State University, Fullerton in Psychology. I have experience in the areas of trauma, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. My passion is working alongside my clients which includes; children, adolescents, and adults; to help bring healing to those who have been through a traumatic or stressful experience. I aim to provide a nurturing, friendly, compassionate, and energetic approach to connect with my clients and create a healthy therapeutic relationship. I strive to help my clients find healthy perceptions of themselves and strengthen their family and personal relationships so they can feel healthy, whole, and safe. I have been trained in a range of research based practices including Seeking Safety and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I like to balance my practice through use of techniques from a variety of theorists, cognitive, and solution focused techniques to help my clients improve their overall quality of life. Therapy is not an easy process, but I can assure you I will walk alongside with you.
