About
“Between stimulus and response there is a space. In that space is our power to choose our response. In our response lies our growth and our freedom.” – Victor Frankl
Welcome! As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with my Pupil Personnel Services credential in School Counseling, I am here to support you and meet you where you are at, as you move towards growth and self-acceptance. I hope to provide a safe space for you and assist you in learning new things along the way.
Some of my specialties include: trauma, school-related issues, anxiety, depression, grief, and coping skills. I focus on building rapport and collaborating with my clients, so that they can feel accepted. I also tailor the treatment process to meet clients’ individual needs. I specialize in working with adolescents, adults, and families.
In addition to my current work with Soultenders, I have worked in many schools as well as for a non-profit funded by the Department of Mental Health services.
I am trained in evidence-based treatments such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Managing and Adapting Practice (MAP). I also have experience with the Signs of Suicide (SOS) curriculum. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage & Family Therapists (CAMFT).
Together, we can work through and process whatever you may be facing. I look forward to helping you in any way that I can.
