About
I am a warm, supportive, therapist focused on helping clients achieve their goals.
I have over a decade of clinical experience working in community mental health. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Seeking Safety, and Domestic Abuse Counseling but I will use any other theoretical approach that will assist my clients. I am also certified in several parenting programs - including The Parent Project, Loving Solutions, Positive Parenting Program (Triple P) Child and Teen - and I enjoy facilitating The Parent Project and Loving Solutions classes for parents.
My clients have ranged in age from children (five years) to senior citizens. I have worked with individuals and families - including biological and blended families, foster care families, and adoptive parents. My experience includes working with issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, LGBTQ/gender identity, grief, parenting and family, and domestic abuse. I have also worked with court ordered clients. I have facilitated many classes to assist parents to enhance their parenting skills.
