About
“The good life is a process, not a state of being. It is a direction, not a destination.” – Carl Rogers
Life, work, and relationships can be exhilarating – but they can also be overwhelming. When dealing with depression, anxiety, pain or anger, it can often be difficult even deciding how to move forward. If you are considering therapy, I am glad you are here, and I hope you will keep reading! As a strengths-based therapist, I will work with you to help you unlock your potential, clarify your values and goals, and take tangible steps toward living a more meaningful life. As a clinical social worker, I will support you in examining the influence that various situations and relationships have in your daily life. My commitment to you is that you will experience me as empathic, authentic, and supportive. Therapy isn't “one-size-fits-all,” so I will work with you to develop an individualized approach specifically tailored to your unique experiences, values, and goals. About me: I received my Master of Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of California, Los Angeles and have been licensed with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (# 68027) since 2015. I have worked successfully with clients from ages 5 to 85, in a broad range of settings using a variety of therapeutic approaches including: Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Seeking Safety, and other evidence-based practices. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors and exploring L.A.’s constantly evolving culinary scene.
