About

"We have one life to live. Make it the best one possible."

My name is Caron L. Tomlin-Haynes. I grew up in Los Angeles, California where I attended public schools from kindergarten through college. I received both my Bachelor of Arts Degree (in Sociology) and Master of Education (and Secondary Teaching Credential) from Loyola Marymount University. I taught in both public and private schools throughout the greater Los Angeles area, as well as the Inland Empire for 38 years. While working as a full-time teacher and fulfilling my duties as a single mother, I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I graduated from California Baptist University, and have been a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist since 2017. My passion is helping individual adults and couples (21 and over), address the relational issues they have between themselves and others; that are preventing them from identifying the problematic behaviors, that are getting in the way of establishing and maintaining healthy relationships between themselves and others. I work with clients from diverse communities: racial, ethnic/cultural, LGBTQ, Adults 21+ as well as Senior Adults and Couples. If individual or couples counseling is something you are interested in, feel free to contact SoulTenders and make an appointment. I'm available to help you become the very best version of yourself.
