About
"People start to heal the moment they feel Heard". - Cheryl Richardson
As a Marriage Family Therapist, I strongly believe in the 3 C’s in Life: Choice, Chance, and Change. You must make the choice, to take the chance, if you want anything in life to change. I believe in the power of choices, healing, and hope. Psychotherapy can enhance healthy behavior, improve relationships, express emotions, and think more positively.
I enjoy creating a safe therapeutic alliance for my clients in order for healing and grow to occur. Most of my clinical experience stems from working with children, adolescents, adults, and families in a community-based setting. Based on my experience, thus far, I truly enjoy working with clients in strengthening communication, developing coping skills, and improving relationships.
I specialize in working with individuals that are experiencing depression, anxiety, interpersonal relationship issues, grief and loss, and life transitions. I utilize different treatment modalities, since therapy is not a one size fits all. Therefore, I work with individuals in creating a unique treatment plan that is geared to their needs. I enjoy taking a gentle and empathic approach in order to help individuals develop resiliency, change, and growth.
I look forward to working with you and being part of your healing journey.
