Hi my name is Irene Velasquez and I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I provide therapy to adult women ages 18-35. I am trained in EMDR. DBT, and CPT.I specialize in woman's issues, trauma, depression, and anxiety. I do not do family sessions, couples therapy, or EAP therapy. I have experience with various populations and incorporate somatic and holistic approaches into my approach. I use humor , praise, and a warm and safe environment for all my clients.
I incorporate positive support and holistic approaches in therapy with my clients. I believe in creating. a balance in your life to be very important for your well being and self care. I use a client centered approach, meaning you are the expert and involved in your treatment 100 percent.Together, we will embark on a journey of healing, growth, and self-discovery. Each session will be an opportunity for you to learn new coping skills and strategies that will help you overcome any obstacles that come your way.
