About
"Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about creating yourself." George Bernard Shaw
I assist clients through life’s transitions and challenges that lead to depression, anxiety, decreased self-confidence, relationship problems, or negative behaviors they would like to change. We will work together to figure out where you are now, where you want to be, and how you can get there.
I find that cognitive-behavioral and solution-focused therapy in conjunction with mindfulness, behavior modification, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), TRM (trauma resiliency model) work best for most people. My approach is integrative and tailored to each individual. My communication style is culture-centered, empathetic, and nonjudgmental.
My goal is to assist clients in developing skills and strategies they can use to bring positive changes in their life, to heal, and to find their strengths.
