About
I am a believer in hope, that if we can figure out the "Why" then we can make changes to things that aren't going well for us in life. Often people get stuck in "something is wrong with me" when most often it's more about "what happened to me". Never give up on yourself and know that with the right tools, you can do hard things! Together we can help you have a better life and move from living in the past to enjoying your life in the present moment.
I have worked with diverse populations such as the blind community, Native American communities, LGBTQ+, Alternative Lifestyle communities, adoption and children/adults that have experienced childhood trauma, as well as other trauma's. I use an integrative approach to therapy, depending on who the client is, and what resonates for them. I like to use a combination of cognitive behavioral tools, dialectical behavior tools, interpersonal and somatic approaches. I also have 10+ years working with addiction, both abstinence based and moderation approaches.
