About
Each client comes to treatment with unique strengths, life experiences and world views. I believe treatment should be as uniquely individualized, supporting each client towards their own personal goals.
I started my clinical work with a focus on children and adolescents. Although my practice has shifted towards primarily working with transitional-age youth and adults, this background in child development has provided me a strong foundation in treating adults with childhood trauma, as well as parents striving to navigate the balance of parenting and meeting one's own mental health and emotional needs.
I individualize treatment to promote growth towards each client's own personal goals. Whether coping with a new life stressor, navigating a role change or transitional period, or striving to heal from past trauma and emotional wounds, I support clients in strengthening skills to manage presenting anxiety, emotional outbursts or symptoms of depression while also engaging in cognitive processing to better understand the current impact of early life experiences.
