About
"My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style." - Maya Angelou
My goal is to provide supportive therapeutic care and assist individuals in developing skills to succeed in reaching personal goals. My therapeutic skills consist of humanistic and psychodynamic approaches, cognitive behavioral and motivational interviewing techniques. Ultimately, I utilize an eclectic range of clinical tools with a holistic perspective; meeting clients where they are in their therapeutic journey.
I have experience working with individuals who are dealing with the following: • Depression • Anxiety • Complex Trauma • Difficulty Adjusting to Stressors • Women’s Issues • Chronic Illness • Phase of Life Changes • Relational Concerns: Intrapersonal/Interpersonal, Romantic, Platonic, Familial • Hostile Work Environments • Low Confidence/Self-esteem • LGBTQIA Concerns • Family Dynamics • Life’s Challenges • Grief/Loss • Fellow Therapist and Mental Health Providers • And not sure what the heck is going on! The idea is to work together so you can achieve your desired goal, and when you are ready; I will walk through the journey with you!
