About
“Last night as I was sleeping, I dreamt—marvelous illusion!–that I had a beehive here inside my heart. And the golden bees were making white combs and sweet honey from my old failures.” -Antonio Machado
My style in therapy is about connecting, supporting, and honoring who you are. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Registered Expressive Arts Therapist. I have over 20 years of experience in mental health and helping organizations.
The value in each of us is infinite, and tapping into our inner wisdom essential. I create a safe nonjudgmental space with the intention to strengthen intuition, heal stuck patterns, find solutions, thrive and feel better. I approach therapy with unconditional empathy, understanding the struggles and challenges that can diminish our lives.
I have clinical experience with clients from a variety of different backgrounds, ages, experiences, and reasons for seeking help. I use a variety of evidenced based practices including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Rogerian and Jungian approaches, Ecopsychology, Expressive Arts Therapy, mindfulness/meditation, and Psychodynamic Therapy.
