About
Welcome! I work with adults in individual therapy. My clinical specialties are treating people with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, PTSD, and dissociative disorders. I often work with adult survivors of abuse or other traumas. I’ve been with Soultenders since 2016.
I have a relational and experiential approach to therapy. This means that your feelings and reactions during our sessions guide and lead us to changing ways of thinking and acting that keep you stuck and prevent you from getting what you need and want. I’m trained in basic EMDR and Complex Trauma and Dissociation.
I am currently seeing clients only by telehealth. You’ll need a computer with a webcam or a tablet; the image on a phone is too small for best results. You will need privacy during your appointments.
I have 12-Step recovery knowledge and experience working in a women's residential and sober living facility with adult female patients in collaboration with substance abuse counselors, and leading multi-family process and psychoeducation groups.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have served in a board-certified lactation consultant role, helping new families with in-home breastfeeding help. Before that, I served as a community breastfeeding counselor, leading monthly mother-to-mother peer group meetings and counseling mothers one-on-one.
