About
Rita Su Hu
Welcome! I am Rita Su Hu, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with years of experience in both community-based and private practice settings. I’ve had the privilege of supporting individuals and couples from diverse cultural backgrounds through challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem and relationship challenges.
As an immigrant who grew up in Taiwan, I’m fluent in both English and Mandarin, which gives me a deep appreciation and understanding of cultural nuances. My therapeutic style is client-centered and integrative, drawing from a range of treatment modalities to meet your specific needs. I am here to walk alongside you on your journey, providing a safe and nurturing space where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment.
My goal is to empower you by building on your strengths, fostering self-compassion and acceptance, and nurturing hope throughout our sessions. Together, we will explore your challenges, promote personal and relational growth, and develop effective coping strategies to live a fulfilling life.
