About
Sometimes we just need a helping hand along the way.
“Never, never, never quit” is my favorite quote. It reminds me that with every new day, every new breath, every second chance, we have an amazing capacity to rise above and rewrite our own unique life stories.
I believe that there is an array of strengths in all of us. To seek therapy is a great sign of inner strength and resilience. Trying to navigate through life’s inherent struggles alone is simply impossible. We all need someone who can help us reactivate our inner light, our lost hope and our own immense inner power within.
Using evidence-based approaches that are backed by research and combining it with a supportive, safe, warm and accepting environment, I have discovered these approaches help foster deep, meaningful and lasting change. I have extensive knowledge of mindfulness and cognitive based approaches to healing.
I am also trained in the Brainspotting modality, which helps us heal from deeply rooted traumas, depression or anxiety using the immense power of our own brain and body. I have experience working with grief and loss with children and adults, as well as experience working with sexual and physical abuse survivors of all ages.
Providing a safe, accepting and supportive environment for ALL children and families is something I strongly embrace. I am an LGBQT+ ally and have experience and a passion for working with these youth, adults and families. I also love working with families around adoption and foster care issues, restoring and/or building solid connections.
