Susan Gameros-Garcia

I am Latina, fluent in Spanish, and consider myself an advocate for breaking the stigma of mental health in our communities. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist that has been working with individuals and families since 2011. I have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, mood disorders, generational trauma, among other concerns.

I like to guide my clients to explore where the feelings and symptoms are coming from while helping them build their coping skills and social support system. I am trained in EMDR and utilize this technique to assist clients in healing trauma wounds. I am a very calm, patient, and empathetic person. I am a big advocate of self care and self kindness. I am also a Reiki Master Practitioner and Sound Healing Practitioner. I believe in mind, body, and soul connection and therefore explore holistic approaches in treatment.
