Soultenders recently had the pleasure of participating in the Western University of Health Science’s Mental Health Awareness event. Held on September 18th, 2024, the event was an excellent platform for us to connect with the campus community and emphasize the importance of mental health. Soultenders has worked with Western University since 2019 and has been able to provide mental health services to students/faculty through their Optum plans without needing prior authorization.
We provided information on individual, family, and couples counseling provided via telehealth and in person by therapists in our Soultenders network. Engaging with students face-to-face allows us to address their specific concerns and answer questions directly. While awareness of mental health is increasing, there is still a significant need for more accessible support services, and we are proud to be a part of increasing accessibility to care by accepting over 30 insurances.
